Finished Music Motif

Here is the finished product on the Music Motif. I think the piano border worked out good. I do not think I am going to do another border. I am planning on framing it in one of those frames that are all glass (where the item goes between the glass panels.) Hope you enjoy, let me know what you think : D

Motif and Baby Sweater/ Mary Jane set

I know this is my knifty knitter blog but I have so many blogs right now it is hard to keep up with each one. So you will have to forgive the lack of knifty knitter items right now, but I did scarves... and everything else last year and now they are all making there own scarves so I had to think of something new.
Here is my motif, I have been trying some new crochet items. I am thinking about Christmas gifts now, and I know when Zechariah gets here I will not have any time between taking care of him and Micaiah.
Well, If you haven't heard I found out I am having a BOY!!!! His name is Aiden Zechariah, he will go by Zechariah. We are sticking with all prophets for the boys and I get to pick the girl names. I guess my crochet dresses will have to stay packed up or be given as gifts. I have made one more girl item, it is a yellow picot sweater and mary janes. I will probably hold off on making any more girl clothes unless I have a gift to get ready for but I knew if I was having a girl I would not want to work on Christmas gifts.
I am working on another crochet project I will post it when I am finished with it. But anyways here is the motif and the baby sweater and mary janes. Hope you enjoy.

Baby dresses

Well I have been working on some projects and finished them wanted to share them with you all. For those who know I am expecting (we do not know the sex of the baby yet, I just wanted to try something different from scarves and hats.)
The peach dress I started last night and finished this morning, it worked up very fast. The pattern had a white/cream dress with the ruffle collar a different color. It is suppose to fit a newborn to a couple months old. The yarn is Bernet baby yarn. The green ribbon was all I had that some what matched the peach I am wanting to get some peach ribbon to go in for the belt. Here is the pattern:

The purple dress I was practicing on, I crochet really tight so I went up 2 sizes on my needle, but with this yarn it does not pull as tight as the other so I could have used the needle they called for. I have added a ribbon tie on the dress to bring in the sides a little so it is a little more fitted. The yarn used on this is the baby bee baby chenille. I really liked working with this yarn, I just wish it was not so expensive. Please let me know what you think of the dresses. Here is the pattern:

Sorry for the time gap

Sorry it has been so long since I have posted, I found out in January that I was expecting :p and I have been really sick with this pregnancy. The morning sickness is finally starting to go away!!! I am hoping to buy some more yarn and start back knitting items. There has been a lot of neat things being made, and I am ready to start making baby clothes and start working on Christmas gifts. So I am still here so hopefully soon I will start knitting again.

Baby Sweater

I started this patten earlier this afternoon and just now finished it. I used the blue round loom, the yarn is yarn bee infatuation pale jade. I did the e-wrap stitch all the way through it and then put a ribbon in to tie it off. This was the first time I have attempted to make my own pattern. I am very pleased with how it turned out :D.
Let me know what you think.
Also soon I will have some of my purses on Isela site, she will post them for me. Thank you again Isela!!! Give me a week or two before you start looking I have to get some made up. I will give more detail later.

OT Not a Knitting project but a project :D

I have been working on this purse and wallet today for a girl @ the college here and thought I would post it anyways. I have been making purses, totes, diaper bags... for almost 2 years and love it. It is just a little more expensive than yarn :D. I wanted to start me a website and sell my purses and scarves but do not know where to start. I am not looking for get rich quick but just a little extra cash. (y'all know what I mean...) I will post some more of my yarn projects soon. I am in the process of making so many things and I think the baby sweater should be done soon it is little. I hope you like the purse. Another thing if you have any tips for me on how to start my own business. I would love to hear.

Checkerboard Scarf (rectangle purple loom)

Hello Everyone,
I know it has been a while since I have posted, I am working on some bigger projects and have ran out of yarn for one of them so I started this checkerboard scarf late Friday night and finished it Saturday morning. I got this pattern from http://www.beehappygifts.com/checkerboard.htm
I wanted to use the chenille yarn but it never went on sale and every other yarn I tried didn't look right so this one I didn't know if this yarn would have worked or not (it did!!!!) I used the same yarn I did on the pink and white stripped scarf I made a couple of weeks ago. I think I like working colors b/c it don't seem to take as long as just working on one color yarn. Well let me stop babbling so her is the yarn I used...
pink - PALE ANTIQUE ROSE IS THE COLOR AND THE BRAND IS BERNAT SOFTEE CHUNKY.Combined with this rose color is YARN BEE INFATUATION IS BOUQUET. The white - NATURAL IS THE COLOR AND THE BRAND IS BERNAT SOFTEE CHUNKY. Combined with the natural is YARN BEE DREAM GIRL IS BECKY. I hope you enjoy.the scarf and please let me know what you think :D.

Here is another scarf I made it is a fashion scarf it is just about 7 pegs wide and is EYELASH yarn I think it is called Princess. I hope you enjoy :D
Make sure you go to the bee happy gift site and order you the checkerboard scarf pattern ;)

Checkerboard Scarf and Multi color tube scarf

Here it is!!!! I finally got the matching checkerboard scarf finished it is not the one pattern I wanted to make it out of, but my yarn was to thin for the other pattern. This one I just made it like a tube scarf. The other scarf is a regular tube scarf, I love working with the different colored eyelash yarn. While you are making your item it puts a cool little pattern on it. This one did a large checkerboard pattern with all the other colors. Here is the the yarn I used, for those that do not remember what I made the checkerboard hat out of here it is again. Yarn Bee, Airy yarn (pink and brown). The Multi color tube scarf is made out of Yarn Bee, Jewelsong (Butterflies). The Checkerboard scarf is made for a little girl but can be worn by an adult (I do not know the names of all the different types of scarves you can make), but this is one that you tuck the ends down in your coat. It is a very thick scarf so you would have to wrap it. I hope you enjoy.
If you have any questions just let me know and I will do my best to answer them.

The pink - PALE ANTIQUE ROSE IS THE COLOR AND THE BRAND IS BERNAT SOFTEE CHUNKY.Combined with this rose color is YARN BEE INFATUATION IS BOUQUET. The white - NATURAL IS THE COLOR AND THE BRAND IS BERNAT SOFTEE CHUNKY. Combined with the natural is YARN BEE DREAM GIRL IS BECKY. It is fuzzy but not to fuzzy, it measures 84 inches long. I hope you enjoy.

Checkerboard Hat

Last night I was working on a hat I don't have a pattern for this hat, I just was seeing what was going to work. The colors of the hat are a little harder to see it is a brown and a pink (Yarnbee, Airy yarn). I don't know if you can see it in the pictures but there are little sparkle things inside the yarn . I made it on the red loom, if I had a little girl it would be perfect but I have a little boy :D, so one gift for someone down :D. The yarn made it very thick and soft, I am going to try to make a scarf to match. I love chocolate colors with pink, I think it looks girly. Hope you like the pictures. I will post on my other projects soon

A New Year...

It is new year now, and now we can start on Christmas gifts for next year :D. I just wanted to add a wish list of items I will be starting and have done with in the year. I want to make some more scarves (some for me and my family, then start on Christmas). Poncho for me, sweaters for my husband and son, baby items (something different for baby gifts), come up with my own patterns, learn more about the knifty knitter different stitches... really anything you can make I would like to try to make. I will post some pictures soon, I am working on another reversible scarf for me and will be starting a checkerboard scarf (trying to find yarn I like for it). I hope you all a Happy New Year and happy knitting...
